FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING WITH ME?

For rabbits and guinea pigs we simply ask you bring their usual dry food as a change in diet could stop them settling in. For rabbits we require them to be vaccinated against Myxomatosis and Viral Haemorrhagic Disease (the VHD vaccine) aswell as the RVHD2 vaccine. Please make sure you bring your rabbit's up to date vaccination certificate.

WHAT DO YOU SUPPLY FOR OVERNIGHT BOARDING?

Hop On Holiday will provide all hay, bedding, litter and fresh veggies while our guest stays with us. Oh, and all the attention and love!

HOW CAN I CHECK ON MY PET DURING THEIR STAY?

At Hop On Holiday we are more than happy to keep you updated on your little one as often as you like! I can send you daily pictures and videos and keep you totally in the loop while your pet enjoys their stay with us - just let me know.

WHAT HAPPENS IF MY PET BECOMES ILL?

In the very unlikely event your pet falls ill while staying with us we will do our utmost to contact you first on the emergency telephone number you will provide us. Your pet is our number one priority and if we can't get hold of you we will act under the advice of the vet consulted. By using the service you are consenting for me to use my discretion and take your pet to the vet if necessary.
Note- Owners will be responsible for costs incurred for veterinary visits/treatment upon collection of guests.

WHAT IF MY PET HAS PRE EXISTING MEDICAL CONDITIONS?

You must let me know of any pre existing medical conditions. Each case will be taken into consideration and where possible I will do my best to accommodate.

WHAT TIME IS PICK UP/DROP OFF?

When you get in touch we can arrange this to suit. As this business is run from my home we do not have set opening hours. I am happy to pick up and drop off locally for a fee if you don't have a car.
